About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Airframe and Powerplant Technician responsible for maintaining aircraft in accordance with federal regulations and guidelines. This includes regular maintenance, repairs, inspections, and enhancements to the aircraft's performance. Collaboration with A&P mechanics and other personnel for comprehensive engine and part repairs is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance on corporate aircraft, ensuring structural, mechanical, and electronic elements are maintained, repaired, or replaced as necessary.
  • Ensure mechanical systems are in proper working condition before flight.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Work in compliance with company RSQCM, manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations.
  • Install new or repair defective parts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to specifications.
  • Use various tests and tools to ensure proper function of aircraft operating systems.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues through visual inspections or pilot reports.
  • Collaborate with A&P mechanics to repair engines and non-instrumental parts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft parts, systems, mechanics, tools, and testing methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for record-keeping.
  • Detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to superior workmanship.
  • Ability to perform basic inspections and repairs and learn new repair methods.
  • Willingness to travel.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience (Required)
  • A&P Certification (Required)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass a 10-year background check and random drug and alcohol tests

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of working in various positions and spaces, on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Able to lift and pull objects up to 70 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength for tool operation and adjustments.
  • Visual acuity for equipment inspection and defect identification.
  • Adequate hearing for testing aircraft sounds and functionality.

Willingness to Travel: 25% (Preferred)
